The bathrooms were horrible. We ended up with a handicap bathroom for some reason and it while it was nice and big, it was moldy and dirty! There was laminated wood floors (why? Pee smells do not come out of wood!) that were not installed properly and there were gapping, smelly spaces between the boards. The ceiling had a big black moldy ring and the metal tissue box was covered in yellow rusty type lines. The light fixtures were covered in hairspray and dust. It was gross! I should have asked for a refund, but left notes instead to clean it up!

There is no staff on duty at the front desk after 11:00 at night. We attended an event in Brainerd, MN, about 60 miles from Long Prairie, and returned to the motel around midnight. When we tried to get in to our room, the key wouldn't work! We tried calling several numbers that were posted on the window of the front desk, but couldn't reach anyone. We ended up calling the police and a very nice police officer met us at the motel and helped us locate the manager (who was staying at the motel). He ended up making new keys for us and we got into the room, but he wasn't real happy about us getting the police involved!! BWhen we checked out in the morning there was still no one at the front desk, however it was open. On a positive note, I will say, the rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable.

Room was in poor condition. Drapes were falling off the window. Mattress was about 7-8 inches high, and not comfortable. Breakfast was marginal. White bread, plain bagels, and generic peanut butter. The proprietor was wearing pajamas while he put out the food. And for all of this, I paid $100 for the night.

I had made a reservation for a double room through you and had a printed reservation with me. However, when I got to the Super 8 I was given a single room. It was just fortunate that the person who was to share the room with me had to cancel at the last moment. So much for making a reservation far ahead of time.

The only hotel in town. The rooms were quite clean and the bedding good. Breakfast was poor - but free, so you can't expect much.
We paid $95 plus tax for a Super8!!! The room we booked for $80 was no longer available?? Really ... but it is the only hotel in town, so what can you do. Not great value - a $60 hotel that you pay more $$ for as there is nothing else in town. If you can drive to the cities - way better option!
